I agree with pksnyder. As with most traffic methods, a little know-how is required.
For example: Speaking about Traffic Exchanges, many believe they don't work. Truth is, it depends more on the number of clicks you get (and that's got to be a lot. Like 1500 per week) and "where" you're sending your traffic too (skip Surf Exchanges altogether).
A hyped up sales pitch is a poor place to send traffic, a problem-solving system is a much better place. The reason is: The visitors you target on a Safelist are people who are more likely to be struggling in their business. They're looking for answers, even if they don't know it.
If you're using media buys (banner ads), it's necessary to realize this audience is more likely to be Income Opportunity Seekers (newbies), who don't understand the business and will require a different kind of introduction (such as a system with built in training & support).
